The goods and bads of a Golden
Good Points:
- Goldens are intelligent( generally), happy-go-lucky, pleasant, train easily, will be a wonderful friend.
 - Goldens have wonderful personalities, great dispositions, they are irresistable, extremely smart,
 very perceptive,
lovable, and they can make you laugh more than any dog you've ever known.

Bad Points:
 - Goldens don't live long enough
 - You have to change your lifestyle around for up to 15 years

 - They SHED, and I mean shed
 - They will drool, though not at bad as some
 - They never grow up.

 - They steal, they think that they are people and can test your patience.
  - A good breeder is hard to find, when you find one they are hard to convince that you are good enough.
You'll be tempted to go to a Back Yard Breeder, but should not since this breed has been bred thin on health.
In other words it doesn't take much to destroy a healthy line.
 - You'll be tempted to breed your dog because you will be so far in love...but never breed for that reason
you could wind up with a broken heart as well as wallet.
 - You'll spend a small fortune on toys, film, doggy beds, cute pet photos with santa.
 - You can't let them run loose, all it takes is one odd scent and they will be gone, so you'll have to buy
a leash to match every outfit, every occasion, every holiday, and one of those really fancy, expensive
braided ones just to show off.
 - You'll start making excuses for the stupid things your dog does, you'll try to laugh it off for friends,
 - Friends who will stop coming to see you cause they can't wear anything but kaki colored clothes.
 - You won't miss the friends long...the dog will see to that.
 - You'll be worry...you think kids are bad to give you grey hairs.....
 - And the worst point is that one is never enough.
