Jenny
Jenny is my internet friend, a friend I've never seen, but one I treasure dearly. I met her through a grandparents list, and instantly felt like I had known her forever. She was always there for me when I needed a friend.
Jenny was admitted to the hospital on Monday, September 7 for respiratory problems, and it was then that they found out about she had cancer of the pancreas. God called Jenny home to be with Him on Friday, September 11, 1998.
Jenny was a very special person and I will miss her a lot. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
I am not saying good by to Jenny, just farewell. For I know we will meet again some day. For from this life we all must depart. Jenny just went on ahead of us. She will be there waiting with a big smile and a hug for each and everyone of us.
A tribute to Jenny from her son Bobby
A Loving Mother

Jenny's World

"I Have a Place in Heaven"
Please don't sing sad songs for me,
Forget your grief and fears,
For I am in a perfect place,
Away from pain and tears.
I'm far away from hunger
And hurt and want and pride,
I have a place in Heaven
With the Master at my side
My life on earth was very good,
As earthly lives can go,
But Paradise is so much more
Than anyone can know.
My heart is filled with happiness
And sweet rejoicing, too.
To walk with God is perfect peace,
A joy forever new
Our days are like raindrops
on time's windowpane,
each trickles away
and will not come again;
but blessed are they
whose goodness shines through
and changes the raindrops
to diamonds of dew!
Our years are like leaves
that float to the ground
in colors of emerald
and amber and brown;
and blessed are they
whose "leaves," as they fall,
form a blanket of beauty
that conforts us all!
Our lifes are like clouds
that swiftly sail by
and are gone in a moment
form Eternity's sky;
but blessed are they
who turn grey clouds to white,
whose kinds deeds are stars
on the canvas of night!
Our soul's are like angels
with wings that are furled,
assigned to each mortal
who dwells in this world;
and blessed are they
whose love conquers strife,
whose spirits are beacons
that brighten each life!
God's love is eternal
We have nothing to fear,
No matter the problem
He'll always be near.
We can't understand
The reason sometime,
But eventually we find
The rhythm and rhyme.
For His greater plan
Of our lives on this earth,
There's a reason for all things
From the time of our birth.
If our love remains constant
With faith and with hope,
Our God will reward us
And teach us to cope
Til the day our life's over
And we find release,
And we journey to heaven
To tranquility and peace.
