Come Unto Me

Come unto me and feel my wounds;
My hands and feet and side.
Come unto me so ye may know
To save the world I died.

Come unto me, both old and young,
Come every single soul
To witness for posterity,
So everyone will know:

I am the God of Israel.
I saved the world from sin.
My sufferings, sore, allowed all men
To see their God again.

Come unto me; Incline your ear;
Hear, and your soul shall live.
Cone unto me, ye that labor
And rest to you I'll give.

Come unto me, ye saints of God
And let your light so shine.
Invite all men to come to me
And my sweet Spirit find.

Jennifer's Testimony

I met my husband in January of 1996, in a music class. When we discussed marriage, we agreed that we would accept nothing less than a temple marriage, sealing us together for time and all eternity. This meant that we had to remain chaste until after we were married. We made it, even though it was very difficult at times. It's so wonderful to know that I can be with my husband throughout this life and the next. The gospel is so important to me, and the principles it teaches are eternal.

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true Church of God. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us, and is concerned about us. He truly knows each of our wants, needs, struggles, hardships, and desires, and He desires for each one of us to return back to His presence. He will answer all of our prayers if we pray in faith, with an open mind and with a sincere desire to know the answer. I love my Heavenly Father with all of my heart. He blesses me with comfort and the knowledge that I am not alone. I know that he cares for me and that he watches over me.

Jesus Praying in Gethsemane

I am so grateful to my Savior, Jesus Christ, and for the sacrifices that He went through so that I could repent of my sins and eventually return to live with Him someday. The pain and anguish that He suffered is something that I cannot even begin to imagine -- a sacrifice that would pay for the sins of every man and woman ever to walk the earth! Yet He did it out of love for me, and for each one of us. He suffered so terribly that blood ran from every pore of his body.

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church of God. I know this, because I have prayed to my Heavenly Father and received this knowledge. I desire for everyone to feel the love and peace that comes with this reassurance. The gospel in its fullness is on the earth, through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
