Mrs. Becky's Potato Soup

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 Medium Onion -- Sliced Into Rings
6 Medium Potatoes -- Peeled And Cubed
1 Can Evaporated Milk
1 Stick Butter
1 Dash Salt -- To Taste
1 Dash Pepper -- To Taste
1 Package Ham Slices -- Sliced Thin

Place the onion slices in the bottom of a crockpot. Place potatoes on top of onions. Cover with water and cook until potatoes are tender.
Mash potatoes, leaving small and medium-sized chunks, add stick of butter, milk, salt and pepper to taste, and lunch meat. Cook on low until thoroughly heated. 

Can possibly thicken with instant mashed potato flakes, if desired.
