Cheese Soup

5 good size potatoes
1 pound of summer sausage or more
1 can of corn
2 cups of milk
1/4 to 1/2 pound of Velveeta cheese
salt & pepper to taste
Cook peeled and thin sliced potatoes until tender along with sliced sausage in as little water as possible. When tender, add drained corn and milk. Do not boil after milk is added. When milk is hot, add cheese in small pieces so it melts quickly.
I made this recipe up many years ago when I needed a quick and hearty meal for our family. My children use it with their families now. It is so easy to make and does not need exact amounts, men seem to like the idea of not having to measure!
