        Crunchy Peach Cobbler

        6 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
        1 cup sugar
        2 tablespoons lemon juice
        1 14 oz package oatmeal muffin mix
        1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
        1/2 cup butter

        Combine peaches, sugar, and lemon juice. Turn into an 8x8x2 inch baking dish. In a mixing bowl combine the muffin mix and nutmeg, cut in butter until like coarse crumbs. Spoon over peaches and bake in a 375 degree oven for 40 - 45 minutes. Cut into squares. Serve warm or cool topped with ice cream.
        6-8 servings.
        This is a great accent to a thanksgiving or christmas dinner or even a fourth of july party. And this recipe can be doubled for a large group of people.
