Rum and Apples over Ice Cream

Rum Sauce:
1 Cup of brown sugar and 1/2 Cup of margarine or butter
Put in a saucepan and heat to thin.
Add 3 Tablespoons of flour and cook stirring to blend.
Add 1/2 Cup of water to thin.
Add 1 oz. of Rum extract (or the real stuff if you think you can handle it).
Add 1 oz. of Vanilla extract Stir Keep out of frig.
Slice an apple very thin.
In a fry pan place some apple juice and a small amount of brown sugar and
saute apples and drain. Add apples to a warm Rum sauce.
In a small dessert dish place a couple or more of apples and sauce, add a
small scoop of ice cream and a tablespoon of sauce on top.
