Hello, I am interested in finding information on the following family from
Greenbrier County.
Fredrick HARVEY m. 1843 Margaret BROWN
Children: Harrison
Henry Clinton m. 1867 Sarah Francis HENSON
? Deckard
Elwood A. m. Eliza A. ? ca. 1869-70
We think this Margaret BROWN was our GGgrandfather's mother, and are looking
for that final connection. Son Elwood removed from Greenbrier in time to be
found on the 1870 census for Lawrence County MO, which is also the first
time our GGgrandfather, William BROWN, and his brother, John J. BROWN show
up in Lawrence County.
William BROWN m. 1850 Greenbrier - Evaline AIRY
John J. BROWN m. ca. 1863 poss. TN or AR - Nancy Caroline MOORE (their first
son, Samuel, was born in AR according to the 1870 census for Lawrence County.
Grandparents of Sarah Francis HENSON were William HENSON, Jr. and Margaret AIRY.
Relationship of Margaret AIRY and Evaline AIRY is not known at this time.

Does anyone have any information on NICHOLAS HARVEY, born ca 1760, of
Greenbriar County, Virginia (later became Monroe County, West Virginia). I am
searching for his parentage as well as his descendants, in particular a
connection to a NICHOLAS HARVEY, ca 1810. The younger Nicholas married a
HARRIETT (last name unknown) and had children:
William, b ca 1835, Virginia
Nancy, b ca 1837, Bartholomew Co, Indiana
Delilah, b 1840, Bartholomew Co, Ind
John,b ca 1842, Indiana
Mary, b 1845, Wapello Couny, Iowa
Harriett, b ca 1847, Iowa
Henry, b 1849, Iowa
Nicholas died before 1860 and the part of Wapello that the family lived in
became Monroe County, IA. John and Henry later moved to western Iowa.
Any help would be appreciated. I am a member of Delilah's family and have very
little information on them.
