Page 572, Springfield Ohio monthly meeting, William b. 1769, 4, 10, d. 1858, 12, 5, bur. Springfield; m. Mary Vestal b. 1768, 4, 7, d. 1863, 11, 13, bur. Springfield. Child David, b. 1805, 4, 3. There is another r David, p. 572, son of William b. 1791,6,15; m. Ruth Hadley, b. 1798, 8, 25. That David b. 1819, 9, 7. Both David's had a brother Eli and a sister Sarah, but other names different. Possibly cousins or? Page 573, David condemned, married out of unity, 1825, 5, 28. Page 573, David granted certificate to attend monthly meeting at Miami Ohio, 1830, 6, 15. Note that this is not long before a David was condemned for marrying out of unity. LDS FHC microfilm # 0317345, item # 1. They had the following children:
+2 i. Teressa HARVEY SECOND GENERATION 2. Teressa HARVEY was born about 1828 in OH. According to a note from Mom (Celia) Ingalls, David's sister Tressie lived in Chicago. Info on her age and children taken from 1850 census of Clinton Co. Ohio. Adams Twp. Dist 163 dated 24 Aug 1850. 1860 Census shows a move to McLean Co. Illinois, with a daughter Mary born there in abt. 1858. McLean Co. is located in North Central Illinois, nowhere near Chicago. Terressa Harvey married William Vandervort 20 Aug 1845 in Clinton Co. Ohio per a book from Allen Co. Ind. Library. Titled," Clinton County Ohio, 1810-1864, Early Marriages." She married William VANDERVENT on 20 Aug 1845 in Clinton Co. OH [S1]. William VANDERVENT was born about 1820 in OH. They had the following children:
10 i. James H. VANDERVENT was born about 1843 in OH. This child taken from
1850 census of Clinton Co. Ohio. Could be a child of a previous marriage of William. Grandpa Everett Crain says in his diary that Edmund Sylvester Harvey died 5 Nov 1902. Age 71 Years 10 months 2 days. This disagrees with the death certificate. Grandpa Crain's Diary says Edmund Sylvester was buried in Greenbriar Cemetery, Cedar Run, Benzie County, MI. Lot #49. Also buried there his wife Mary Jane Laisure Harvey and his son William Amos Harvey and his wife Martha Roberts Harvey. Source:Van Wert County Ohio Grantee to Grantor Index, Book 1. To Harvey, Edmund S., From A.J. Hodder?, Book T, Page 255. That gives the sellers as A.J. Headder, no wife mentioned, the price as 60 and no/100 or 50/100 dollars, the date as 29 Mar 1865. The property is described as Lot Number 43 in the East Addition of the Town of Van Wert, according to the recorded plat of said town. Same souuce, Grantor to Grantee, Book 1, page 41. From Harvey, Edmund S., to John Lochlin, Book X, age 41. That gives Edmund's wife as Mary Jane, the price as 805 dollars, the date of 1 April 1867. The land was described the same way as above. Both descriptions mention "premises", but not house, etc. He married Mary Elen (Elanor) VANSCOYK on 25 Jan 1850 in Warren, OH. Mary Elen (Elanor) VANSCOYK was born in 1833 in OH. Sources:1850 census, page marked #571, page stamped #288, dwelling #88, family #88, for District #182, Chester Twp, Clinton County Ohio, Edmund Harvey, age 20; Elanor Harvey, age 18. Family info-had son Peter by first marriage. Found death record for him in Traverse City, but do not have copy yet. They had the following children: 15 i. Peter HARVEY was born in 1857 in OH. Died on 24 Dec 1899 in Almira, Benzie, OH. Source:County death records, page 89. Brookside Cem. Charlevoix, Charlevoix, MI. Franklin Harvey was born in Shainsville,
Ohio a town which no longer exists. The name has been changed to ? They had the following children:

Were Married 7 Aug 1919 at Beulah, Benzie County, Michigan, by Wm. R. Thomas, Probate Judge. Wittneses John Davis and B. Roberts.
He married Martha A. ROBERTS on 7 Aug 1919 in Bulah, Benzie, MI.
20. Belinda S. HARVEY was born on 28 Feb 1875 in Hoglin Twp, Van Wert, OH She married John YETTAR. Ruth Crain Russell said that Belinda lived across from the Cedar Run Cemetery. Ruth said she called her Aunt Lyn. Ruth spelled the last name Yetter. 21. Olive Caroline (Ollie) HARVEY was born on 2 Apr 1878. Died in 1957. Not in Van Wert County Ohio records. She married Harry BAKER.
FOURTH GENERATION 22. Alberta HARVEY was born on 16 Apr 1889 in Cavett, Van Wert, OH. Died on 5 Jul 1973 in East Jordan, Charlevoix, MI. Buried on 9 Jul 1973 in Brookside Cem.Charlevoix, Charlevoix, MI. Alberta Harvey moved with her parents by covered wagon from Covert Ohio to the Leelanau Michigan area in 1895. She married Everett Crain in 1904. They moved to the Marion Center area, Marion Township, Charlevoix County, Michigan in 1933, and later lived in Ellsworth before going to Boyne City. She was survived by 3 daughters and 3 sons, 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Pearl Jenkins of Grand Rapids, and a brother, Walter Harvey, of Charlevoix. Funeral services were held at the Hastings Funeral Home in Ellsworth, with Reverend David Willet of the Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery in Charlevoix. She married Everett Walter CRAIN on 30 Oct 1904 in Kasson Center, Leelanau, MI. Everett Walter CRAIN was born on 16 Sep 1883 in Kasson Twp, Leelanau, MI. Died on 1 May 1969 in Petoskey, Emmet, MI. Buried on 5 May 1969 in Brookside Cem.Charlevoix, Charlevoix, MI. Everett and Alberta are buried in Brookside Cemetery, Charlevoix MI. They lived in Boyne City MI last, before that, in Ellsworth Michigan, and before that, on the Ellsworth-Charlevoix road. He was a farmer and operated a well drilling business. His son Elmer took over the well drilling business and operates it from Boyne City MI. His son Glen lives on the farm in Marion Twp, Charlevoix County, on the Ellsworth-Charlevoix road. His funeral was on Saturday, May 3rd, 1969, at the Ellsworth Michigan Wesleyan Church, at 2:00 PM. Reverend Herbert Diller officiated. The funeral arrangements were by Hasting's Funeral Home, Ellsworth Michigan. Burial was at the Brookside Cemetery, in Charlevoix, Michigan.

and filmed by LDS. The Lone Tree PM to be removed and name changed to Traverse
City PM, 1892, 2, 6. 1894, 5, 5, Traverse City MM, Grand Traverse Co., MI, granted.
1894, 7, 7, Long Lake PM laid down. Other meetings listed, none for Cedar Run. Long
Lake minutes summary, 1897, 11, 6, Crane, Adeliah and Ch: Everette and Dessie
recreceived membership. Indicates they were new or re-instated members. 1901, 10, 5,
Crane, Adella and Dessie resigned to join Cedar Runn church.
NOTE: Names spelled
exactly as per book, which should be an exact copy of the original records. This
indicates first name used was Adellah. There is no record in this book of Everett leaving
this church, but these are probably incomplete records. Page 88 lists A.F. and R. Jennie,
resigned to join Cedar Run Church, 1901, 10, 5. From other entries, A.=3DAllie, and he
was a minister in 1899. R=3DJennie R. or Rachel J. Whinery. Page 128 lists marriage of
Rhoda E. Thomas, daughter of JM. and Luzena M. of Cedar Run to P.C. Gilbert, a non-
member, at Traverse City. Page 527 note says Long Lake 1886-1890 records are missing. They had the following children:

on 21 Jan 1906 in Cedar Run, Benzie, MI. 23. Osta Jane HARVEY was born on 24 Jun 1890 in Scott, Van Wert, MI. Died on 18 Feb 1960 in Ludington, Mason, MI. Buried on 21 Feb 1960 in Lakeview Cem. Ludington, Mason, MI. Information taken from 2 Obituaries, One from a Charlevoix paper and one from "The Muskegon Chronicle" 20 Feb 1960. She married Roy BEEMAN on 9 Sep 1909. Roy BEEMAN was buried in Prob.Undine Cem.HortonBay, Charlevoix, MI. They had the following children:

I Charlene Petrie Ingalls have my doubts as to Edgar Harvey being born in Zanesville Ohio as it says on the funeral "Memorial Card". The rest of the family were born in VanWert County Ohio near a now re-named town that was called Shainesville. He married Ruth SIMPSON on 23 Oct 1920 in Central Lake, Antrim, MI. They had the following children:
