Since some subscribers of the HARVEY-L RootsWeb mailing list have slower connections, we don't want to burden the list with all of this traffic. Please submit your line of descent directly to the team leader.
For those who are researching the HARVEY surname, the following format is suggested. Or use your software to create a brief outline starting with the first (i.e. earliest) HARVEY ancestor (direct line of descent only, please). If you are a descendant, please indicate your relationship to the most recent HARVEY descendant. Once your line has been identified and the appropriate team has been assigned, the team leader will ask for the siblings, their spouses, sources of information, etc. These results will posted on the Harvey Genealogist web site.

tombstone. However, there is a row of tombstones below the Harveys'

belonging to the Garrett family. On the left side of their row
is a slab inscribed
"Walter Youle Harvey Age 27 1881". The slab
for Walter matches those
slabs of the Garretts and Ellwood & Josephine Harvey. However,
he is not
Orlando's son, but the grandson of Joseph Painter Harvey (parents,
Edwin H.
Harvey & Ophelia Josepha Youle) and Josephine's nephew.
Next to Walter Youle Harvey's grave is that of Mary Garrett. Mary
Ulrich
and her put together the Harvey Family Scrapbooks which feature mainly
Ellwood. These scrapbooks were done for all four of Orlando's
sons. Walter's
copy is now in the hands of his grandson, Philip S. Harvey, Jr.
Albert's copy is
now in the Delaware County Historical Society's collection.
