Showcase
The results have been sent and the showcase has been expanded! Many thanks to Stephen C. and Gary R. who sent pictures of the crosses that both have made for their churches. These crosses are particularly impressive because of their size. I usually work in crosses that are about 12 inches high whereas Gary and Stephen have both made crosses that range from about 4 feet to 6 feet in height. Take a look and let them know what you think by leaving a comment in the guest book, or by sending me an e-mail and I'll forward your comments on to each of them.

Sarah Keith
When I opened the envelope and looked at the pictures of Sarah's crafts ... I think my mouth hit the floor. What a wonderful talent! Let me relate to you what Sarah told me:
What is a Chrismon Snowflake you may wonder? A Chrismon is a design symbolic of Christ or Christianity. For example, crowns, crosses, doves, stars. In other words a Christ/Monogram. While making paper cut-out snowflakes with my children last Christmas, I wanted my designs to be unique and reflect the spiritual nature of the season. Through trial and error I folded and cut my snowflakes to incorporate Chrismons into each design. Hence, Chrismon Snowflake Ornaments were developed. The special way they are folded and cut gives them their three dimensional quality. Many of my ornaments contain more than one symbol of Christ!
With that in mind, click on one of the thumbnails below and prepare yourself. These are the most beautiful snowflakes I've ever seen!
Sarah has written a book which shows how to make these and many other Chrismon Snowflakes. If you are interested in purchasing her book, you can contact her at:http://www.christiancrafters.com. The book contains 45 patterns for ages 9 to 99 (with a special section for children 6 to 8!)
Thanks so much for sharing Sarah!
