WHAT MUST I DO TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN?

1. Confess (admit) that you are a sinner.
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
ROMANS 3:10,23
2. Repent (turn back) from your sins.
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
MATTHEW 4:17
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
ACTS 3:19
3. Believe and confess (admit) Jesus is Lord and Savior.
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
ACTS 16:31
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
ROMANS 10:9-11
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11
4. Ask Jesus to come into your heart.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
GALATIANS 2:20
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
ROMANS 8:9
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
REVELATION 3:20

Here's a simple Prayer to become a Christian:

Becoming a Christian is as simple as saying a small prayer (expressing the four points given above) - as long as you really mean what you're saying, and you're expressing your heart's desire.
Anyone can become a Christian. It makes no difference how bad or good you have been in the past, nor does it depend upon whether you do any good works or not, nor does it depend upon your race, religion, culture, ethnic background, socio-economic status, occupation, intelligence level, etc....
There's no need to clean up your life first - just come as you are, Jesus wants you now and He will accept you just as you are. God's love is unconditional!!
If it is your heart's desire to become a Christian, perhaps you may like to pray the small sample prayer given below. Read through the prayer first, to make certain this prayer truly expresses your heart's desire. Then go ahead and pray this prayer now -

"Dear Father God
I come to You now in the name of Jesus
I admit I am a sinner and I deserve to die in the fires of hell I repent now from my sins, I'm sorry for what I have done to offend You.
I promise now to turn around and seek to live a life pleasing to You
I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. I believe that You, Father God, have raised Jesus from the dead. I want Jesus to be my Savior and my Lord of my whole life
Dear Jesus, I ask You now to come into my heart, to be my Savior and my Lord.
Jesus, I belong to You now, I will seek to follow You, to obey You, to give my whole self to You.
I thank You, Father, for saving me and setting me free from sin. I praise You now for giving me a new life, a new beginning.
Amen!"
