ISN'T IT SO DULL AND BORING TO BE A CHRISTIAN?

I want to be free to enjoy life to the full!!

1. Jesus wants us to enjoy life too!!

The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, LUKE 4:18

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. JOHN 16:23-24 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. III JOHN 1:2

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly. JOHN 10:10

2. Sin actually enslaves us in bondage!! For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew [me]. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. ROMANS 7:11,15,23

3. Jesus sets us free from the bondage of sin. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. GALATIANS 5:1

Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light. MATTHEW 11:28-30

4. True Christians does enjoy life to the full!! When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; [whereof] we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [with him]. PSALMS 126

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty. II CORINTHIANS 3:17
