Notes for Richmond COOPER

The first Cooper to appear in Calloway Co., KY, was apparently George Cooper,
who appeared on the tax list in 1823. Also, John, James, and George Cooper
appeared on the Hickman Co., KY tax list in 1822 (page 3). Calloway County
was formed from Hickman Co. in 1821.
There were probably at least two more children in this family - see 1840
Calloway Co. KY census, page 9.
