Notes for Elizabeth C. SMOTHERMAN

It has not been proven that Elizabeth C. is the daughter of John Green. This
is speculation based on her association with the Marcus Smothermon family
and a gap in the birthdates of John Green's children coinciding with her
birth. However, the 1820 Rutherford Co. TN census does NOT bear out this
theory! This requires additional research. See also record #476 for an
additional possible explanation of this Elizabeth's ancestry.
