Here's the happy ending story of Aili (formerly Mitzy):

We adopted Mitzy after seeing her picture on your web site. Mitzy is now called "Aili". Aili is an Irish name meaning Light. She goes to the vet on 6/20 to be spayed, get a rabies shot and heartworm tablets. She is a little tentative about walking in the grass and is learning to go on walks on the leash with Clancy. Her housebreaking is coming along nicely. It helps to have another dog to assist in learning this habit. I guess you could call it the "Monkey See Monkey Do" guide to housebreaking.

She is an alert, intelligent, curious and gentle dog. She gets along wonderfully with our 3 year old Scottish Terrier, "Clancy". Aili doesn't know what to make of our 10 year old African Grey Parrot, "Murphy". All Murphy is right now, is a voice telling her to go out, come in or ask if she wants some food. But Murphy and Clancy get along very well.
