Here's the happy ending story of Chuck:

I wanted to give an update on Chuck, a former V.I.P. puppy. Chucky's former owners the Ramsey's were transferred out of the country and much to Lisa Ramsey's (a former volunteer at TLC) despair had no idea who would take Mr. Chuck. At this point, Chuck had been diagnosed with epilepsy and was still in the beginning stages of trying to get his seizures under control. Lisa was devastated and just could not figure out who in the world would be able to care for a sick dog. She talked to my mom and thankfully my mom suggested that I would be a very good candidate. I am pretty seasoned with caring for sick animals since my other dog, Kasey a yellow Lab, has a lot of health problems.

We took Kasey to meet Chuck and it was love at first site. We brought Chuck to the house about a year and a half ago, and he could not be happier. We finally just about have his seizures under control. He really has flourished in our home and is a very happy healthy dog. No children for him to compete with for attention, so him and his sister Kasey get it all. He gets lots of treats, has a cousin Sally (also a Lab mix) and Hoochie (a black Lab) to play with, and a huge pool to swim in at Grandma & Grandpa's house. He has helped my older Lab, Kasey, to lose 20 pounds and get down to a healthy weight. He is now 3 years old and living the good life. My entire family absolutely adores him and he has really been a wonderful addition the family. There could not be a better home for him!

Sincerely,
