Here's the happy ending story of Isis (formerly Betty Lou):

Hi Janine and everyone at TLC!

I'm sorry to be writing you so late, but my master Stan Gudmundson has been very busy lately. With me, of course! Lots of things have happened to me since I left you on December 30th. Stan took me to the Vet and had me neutered on January 12th and also had a microchip implanted in me. Didn't hurt at all as I was sound asleep at the time! My name is no longer Betty Lou, as that is the name of my masters' wife. My new name is Isis - the same as the Queen of Egypt in the 18th Dynasty! How about that! A Queen!!!! Sometimes I really feel like one the way I'm being treated!

I've gotten a job - I am now the Official Office Dog for Century 21 Comstock Realty Group! I go to work every morning with Stan, I have my own desk (as you can see in the photos above)! My official job is to bark at everyone coming in the front door! If I say so myself, I'm pretty good at it! I just wish my voice was an octave lower because I don't seem to scare anyone.

I have several toys. At the office I have my duckie (he's in the photos). At home I have a pink doggie and also the football you gave me, along with other toys. I play with them all of the time! So far, I haven't destroyed them - I've been very careful as I like all of them.

When it was snowing, Stan and I took lots of walks in the park behind our home. I liked jumping through the snow like a deer! Now that the snow and most of the cold weather is gone (I liked the snow, but not the cold), we'll go for more walks in the park to see the little tree that Stan introduced me to. He and his former dog Cleo used to walk back to see the little tree every day.

I'm trying my best to be a good dog. I've only had one accident in the house and none at my job in the office. I'm trying my best not to chew up anything, however the basket duck was just too much of a temptation and I couldn't control myself. I got a reprimand from Stan and was very repentant and promised him I wouldn't do it again (I hope).

That kind of brings you up-to-date on what's happening with me. Stan says to thank you all very much for the faith you had in him being a good master. He also tells me to tell you to forget about the $25.00 for spaying. Buy the dogs some treats.

Love, Isis
