Here's the happy ending story of Junior: ![]() In the wake of the recent tragic stories involving tainted dog food, I thought you'd appreciate some good news about one of your former residents. It has been a little over a year (March 10, 2006) since I adopted "Junior" as a puppy from your facility. He is now about 15 or 16 months old. He recently had his comprehensive physical exam and is in good health, all his vaccinations are now up to date. He remains an energetic and active dog with more stamina than I have. We continue to walk about five or six miles a day. So he's keeping me in good shape. He is generally well behaved except when he gets excited and forgets that jumping up on people is not very polite, but we're working on that and he is getting better. Sometimes his friendliness is a little too enthusiastic. He is a good dog. I have enclosed a recent picture taken during one of his rare sedate moments. As you can see, he is also quite handsome. In appreciation for bringing us together and for the work you do for others, I am enclosing a small donation in honor of our first "anniversary." |
