Here's the happy ending story of Kiki: ![]() I adopted KIKI 5 weeks ago. She was in a shelter in Indiana for a year before being brought to TLC. She has been the love of my life since. She is about 2 yrs. old and a shepherd/husky mix. She is so sweet and she makes me laugh alot. She loves to play with all her toys and amuses herself by herself. I would one day like to train her to be a therapy dog like my past dog as I believe she would be great at this as she loves people. What a great doogie I got! Thank you. Laura Vancura Kiki has had a long road to her forever home. The first photo below was taken at Clay County Humane Society, where she stayed over a year. Kiki was then transported to TLC, where she was photographed for the website. And now, home at last! ![]() ![]() November 2008, Laura sent this message to Clay County Humane Society: Hi, About a year and a half ago I adopted KIKI who you sent to TLC animal shelter in Homer Glen Illinois. She is the love of my life. She apparently was in your shelter for about a year. Is it possible for you to give me any information on her? She is the sweetest most loving doggie i have. I love her sooo much and she is very special to me. She is perfect!!! I wouldn't trade her for anything. You did a great job keeping her there. Thank you. Here is a picture of her today. I did a DNA test on her and found out she is an australian cattle dog/border collie mix with some collie and shetland sheepdog in her. Isn't she the most beautiful dog you've seen!!! So many people tell me that! I have to agree. Thanks again for keeping her safe and waiting for me. ![]() ![]() |
