Here's the happy ending story of Rooney:
Just wanted to let everyone at TLC know that our boy "Rooney" (the dark grey cat in the picture), is living happily ever after and is super loved and super spoiled!
Our family had adopted our first kitten back in March of 2008. Then, wanting another, in the summer of 2008, we visited TLC looking for another special kitten to join our family.
Rooney was adopted in July of 2008, maybe about 6-8 weeks old then, so we think he's just turned 1 year old in May 2009.
Rooney is a great playmate to our first adopted now 1.5 yr old cat "Nani" (pronounced non-ee). Like typical kittens, they spend most of the day napping, and they spend HOURS in the evening and wee hours of the night running and playing and chasing each other!! They each have their own "beds", but always snuggle together in one. With a teenage girl and 8 year old twin boys in our house, there is no lack of love & affection-they both get TONS of love, playtime, treats, and attention from all of us!!
Rooney will always let you know when he wants your attention. His specialty is jumping from the floor, all the way up to your shoulders, where he'll wrap himself around your neck and sit and purr! We nicknamed him "spidercat" because he can jump and climb on everything! He loves to sit in the window sills and watch the birds and kids outside. He follows all of us around the house constantly, always underneath somebody's feet!! He's a pefect fit into our family.
We are very glad to have him, and I don't think he minds us either!
