Here's the happy ending story of Ginger (formerly Rosie):

We adopted Rosie (now named Ginger) last June from TLC after we lost our beloved lab mix after 11 years of love. Admittedly, she is a character, as most labs are. She likes to swipe bananas and apples from the kitchen counter when nobody is looking. I don't know how, but she manages to peel the bananas as neatly as someone with apposable thumbs. She has some allergy issues that we are still trying to resolve (maybe it's the fruit she pirates). We were finally able to have her spayed and she will be enrolling in (much-needed) basic obedience training this spring. It would be great to be able to walk her on a leash without having my shoulder dislocated... She is amazing at playing fetch. She will place the ball in my hand after every throw and eagerly awaits the next toss. My husband and kids love her, she is loyal and loving to all in our family. I think we may adopt a friend for her to spend her alone time with on days that everyone is a work/school.

Thank you, TLC, for providing us with the opportunity to meet, adopt and become family with Ginger!

Sincerely,
Amy Weierman
