Here's the happy ending story of Shadow:
We adopted Shadow on 1/26/09 from TLC. My kids and I went to TLC to "look" and the cats and dogs when we spotted, now named Shadow, in his little cage. We took him out to play with him, then my heart melted. I HAD TO HAVE HIM! He is a wonderful cat! We had health issues the first week because my goofy dog boozer(great dane/ lab mix) decided to raid the counters and garbage and Shadow ended up eating gum which is VERY bad for his little body. There was a point to where I thought he was not going to make it, but he pulled through it and is well as he can be. Well, he does have a skin condition which is common in cats. Anyway, he hasn't grown much only 1.5lbs. my vet says he's going to stay very small (maybe 5 lbs). He is all up to date with shots, got neutered and a front de claw. He's what you would call a "dog-like-cat" very playful, loves to cuddle, and EAT (Holy-cow this small cat can eat... a lot!). He's a licker to. It hurts after a while since his tongue is so rough but on the bright side if your hand itches just stick it in front of him and he'll take care of it. lol Thank you TLC for such a wonderful pet. We love him very dearly (until he meows for 20 mins straight cause he needs a 6th bowl of food). and I will NOT be coming back for my $25 deposit. Please, keep it as a donation!
