Here's the happy ending story of Storm: We adopted our dog, Storm, from you on May 10, 2001. At the time of adoption she was limping slightlly. So, when we got her home, we took her to our Vet to find out what the problem was and get it taken care of. The Vet said that her knee keeps popping out and not much could be done. She didn't seem to be in any pain so the Vet suggested doing nothing but keeping an eye on her to see if it got any worse. Then we could give her medicine for pain. Well, I'm happy to say that the limp has disappeared and she is getting along just fine. My husband seems to think all the walks we take with her has helped to solve the problem. We are so very happy with her and she seems to be happy with us. She seems to have become the head of the house. Whatever Stormy wants, Stormy gets. She loves it when our children and grandchildren come to visit. In fact, she loves sit when anyone comes to visit. I had to put my 15 yr. old Malamute/Shepherd mix pet to sleep several years before we got Storm and had pretty much made up my mind that I wasn't going to get any more dogs because it's so hard on me when I lose them. However, when I saw Storm's picture on your internet sight, I just knew she was for me, and I think getting her was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Thanks for being there for all the animals you take in and take care of. You were certainly responsible for bringing someone special into my life.
