I am the child whose voice you do not hear

I am the child whose name you don’t know,
I am the child whose case number will show.

I am the child with many faces,
whose mommies work two jobs
because you wont make daddies take their places.

I am the child who is taught to respect
I am the child who you neglect.

I am the child who will sit on the bench some day
