Sexual Abuse

Statistics state, 1 out of every 4 women have been sexually abused in their lives. When you look around at the grocery store or at church it boggles the mind that there are so many "walking wounded". Sexual abuse not only affects the physical part of the person but also the emotional and spiritual aspects of their lives also.

On this page we will discuss some of the common occurences that happen when someone is sexually abused. How it can affect their whole life. Especially later, when they think they have, "In Christ", forgiven all.

Unfortunetly, as Christians, we tend to feel, that once we accept Christ; "..that the old is gone and the new has come.." While we know that this is true (because it is written in God's Word) it doesn't say that we will not have to work at it. He promises to walk with us, not for us.

I have started collecting testimonies of what God thru Christ has done for people that are traveling this journey to wholeness. It you would like to submit yours, I would like to read it.
