The leafy canopy above thins out as you reach a quiet forest clearing. A gentle breeze sweeps through the clearing, whispering softly. The varying hues of green surrounding you are spotted with patches of bright gold, caused by the sunlight filtering through the leaves. The rays of gold touch the dewy grass of the clearing and make the drops of dew sparkle like miniature diamonds.

A soft swish is heard just above. You lift your face upwards in surprise and feel feathers brushing your skin. Blinking, you see a white form surrounded in a gleaming, golden halo. A bird perhaps? The creature circles the clearing once, then touches down lightly on the grass. With a proud toss of her head, the alicorn reveals herself.
Asfala, which means 'Daughter of the Wind', is her name. She is no pet, but a friend to Stargem. Still as wild as when she lived in Lady Blue's Garden, she stays only because of the loving bond between Stargem and herself.
