He married Rebecca LINDSLEY 4 JUL 1845. Rebecca was born 15 OCT 1826.

William H. WHEELER and Rebecca LINDSLEY had the following children:

Devillow³ WHEELER was born in Yorkshire, Cattaraugus, NY 4 OCT1846.⁽¹⁹²³⁾ Devillow died NOV 1863 in Andersonville, Sumter, GA, at 17 years of age.⁽¹⁹²⁴⁾ His body was interred in Richmond, Richmond, VA, Richmond National Cemetery.⁽¹⁹²⁵⁾ Devillow served in the Union Army ABT 1862.⁽¹⁹²⁶⁾ He enlisted in Co. I, 154th NY Volunteers and starved to death in Andersonville Prison.

8 iii. Myron Devereaux WHEELER was born in Allegany, Cattaraugus, NY, USA 8 DEC 1850. He married Emeline REDOUT. Emeline is the daughter of _____ REDOUT.

9 iv. George C. WHEELER. He died in infancy.

10 v. Caroline H. WHEELER was born 9 MAY 1855. She married John CURTISS Jr.

11 vi. Halsey A. WHEELER was born 28 JUN 1858. He married Emelia REDOUT. Emelia was the daughter of _____ REDOUT.

12 vii. Hannah L. WHEELER was born 25 JUN 1860. She married Russell HAYNES.

13 viii. Nancy WHEELER was born 7 FEB 1863. Nancy died 1879 at 16 years of age. She married Theodore PETERSON.

14 ix. Guy I. WHEELER was born in Allegany, Cattaraugus, NY, USA 15 OCT 1866.

15 x. John H. WHEELER was born 18 SEP 1869. He died in infancy.

16 xi. Ada WHEELER was born 1 FEB 1872. She married John KAHN.
