Will of Samuel West, Parish of Dale, Chesterfield, Va

 
In the Name of God Amen.  I Samuel West of the County of Chesterfield 
and Parish of Dale being in perfect senses of mind and memory do make 
and ordain this my last Will and Testament, and do dispose of all my 
worldly goods in manner and Form  Viz.
ITEM  I give unto my daughter Mary West three Negroes, Peter, Isham 
and Critty, and all their future increase, to her and her heirs forever.
ITEM  I give unto my daughter Rebeccah West three Negroes.  Aggy, 
Duglafs and Sally and all their future increase to her and her heirs forever.
ITEM  I give and bequeath unto my two daughters Mary West and 
Rebeccah West all the residue and remaining part of my Estate, both 
real, personal and ???? to be equally divided betwixt them and their heirs 
forever.
ITEM it is my will that my Estate be not appraised.
ITEM  I constitute and appoint my brother Littleberry West and Thomas 
Burfoot my Executors to this my last Will and testament, revoking all other 
Wills by me made.  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and 
affixed my seal this fifth day of March, One thousand seven hundred and 
eighty five, and in the ninth of the Commonwealth.
