WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!
We had our first doctor appointment the middle of December and it's now official. We are due to have this baby around July 30th, 1999 to August 4th, 1999. Want to know what week im currently in? Just look below. Check back once in a while as i'll be updating as much as possible.
Pregnancy Week 38 (JULy 9-15)
How your baby's growing: Your baby weighs about 6 1/2 pounds and is close to 21 inches long. This week, she sheds most of her downy coating of lanugo and vernix caseosa — the cheeselike coating that covers a fetus in utero and protects developing skin. Some may remain at birth. The baby swallows both, along with other secretions, and all will stay in the baby's bowels until birth. This blackish mixture, called meconium, will become the baby's first bowel movement.

well here is the first peek at our newest little life forming..
I will have another one done in about two months hopefully then we will see if its a girl or boy.. I got the strangest feeling looking at it today though.. that it was a girl.. but you know im probably wrong.. we'll probably have all boys.. and thats ok =) it has arms and legs though.. and moves alot.. it was jumping all over the place..=)
FEB:9th
Wow! I think that maybe the morning sickness is subsiding. I sure hope so. I have had plenty of that for a lifetime.It's been almost 4 months day and night. Whew.. what a relief at least for the last 3 days... lets hope it continues.
FEB:12th
Ok the break only lasted for two weeks but now its not nearly as bad as it was the first four months. This I can deal with.
MARCH:1st
I had another appointment March 1st. We had another ultrasound but still couldnt tell if its a girl or boy. My next ultrasound is scheduled for April 7th.
MARCH:12th
Well the sickness is pretty much gone for good I hope. It has been pretty good for the last two weeks. I still get a bit queezy from time to time. But generally I'm doing great now. My energy level has risen again finally. I don't have to take a nap everyday anymore. Thats probably a good thing cuz zach doesnt want to take one either. At my last appointment the dr told me I had gained 3 of the 5 lbs I lost back finally. Now i'm almost back to my pre pregnancy weight. =) And guess what? I'm over halfway there already. Whoohoooooo!. Well see ya next time.
APRIL:7th
ok... I had my sonogram again today... and yes we finally could see if it was a boy or girl. You really want to know? ok. ok. It's a boy! What do you think of Devon Michael? I think that is what we are going with. OH! guess what.... Zachary went pee on the potty yesterday too! so..maybe he will be out of diapers before Devon gets here. Wouldn't that be nice! Oh yeah.. Zachary is finally out of the crib and into the toddler bed as well. He wont sleep in it for naps though. And in the morning he wont get out of the bed.. he will sit indian style and yell come get me out. LOL too funny huh. Look below for the latest pictures.
JULY:14th
Well we're almost there. I went to the doctor today and he said nothing new ...see ya next week. I guess that since the baby isnt getting to big and I'm not having any complications with the gestational diabetes that we're doing ok. Maybe in a week or so we will have this baby. Till then... I'll be jsut taking it easy.. and sorry for the late update... i know its been awhile but with the geocities / Yahoo merger and all my dr appts its been hard to get into here to make changes.
