The Born's were very poor in the
Ukraine and they had their children spread out across the villages with
other families. So when they were ready to leave for Canada, they drove
around and collected all their children and off they went. They came to
Stienbeck Manitoba around the turn of the century (1900).

Wilhelm was from Germany and immigrated
to Russia. His descendants moved from Russia to Canada where they still
live today.
