THE OCEAN VOYAGE

Think how your Fathers left their native land
And where the wild beasts roams;
In patience planned
New forest homes beyond the mighty sea;
There, undisturbed and free
To live as brothers of one family.
What pains and cares befell,
What trials and fears,
Remember, and wherein we have done well,
Follow our footsteps, men of coming years

John Greenleaf Whittier

We dedicate this page to our forefathers, who braved the perils of an ocean voyage to live in a country where they could worship God without being persecuted.

I am also researching the following names: Anderson, Eshelman and Jordan
