Hi~  My name is Lori.   I thought I'd tell you a little about myself.
I'm 35 years old and have been married to Ken for 14 years.

We have a 7 year old son who is the light of our lives!

We live in Washington State and I have lived here all my life.  It's a beautiful place to live.  We live very near the coast and it's just a short ride in the car to see the ocean. 

I am a SAHM and love what I do.   If and when I do go back to work I would love to work for the school district. maybe as a teacher's aid of something of that nature.  I love working with children and to have hours that revolve around my own child's schedule are just ideal, for me anyway.

A couple of my favorite things to do are scrapbooking and reading.  I have a room I use just for my scrapbooking yet I never seem to get up there very often.  I'm so far behind on my scrapbooks it's pitiful.  LOL

I have been online since 1997.  Wow, that sounds like so long ago.
I remember when we first talked about getting the computer I thought it was so dumb to even consider getting the Internet.  I mean what could I ever possibly need it for.  I just figured my husband would use it to play games online or something.  Little did I know that I would become the person in the house that uses it most of all.  I had never even seen what being online even looked like.   I had no concept of how vast it is.  I ran across the website "ParentSoup" one day and was hooked after that.  I met new friends on the message boards at PS and then found the world of family websites.  I wanted to make one so bad.  played around and asked for help from others and finally learned how to do it.  It's somethings I really enjoy doing. The graphics online were amazing, and over the years some of those same graphic artists and lot's more new ones have sprung up and have continued to amaze me with their talent. I love being online and making new friends.
