The Roseburg Family History Center is located at 2001 Bertha Street in Roseburg, Oregon (map below). We are a branch of the largest repository of family records in the world, the Family History Library, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are a non-profit organization administered and funded by members of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints. Our branch was established in 1977 to assist church members and community patrons in tracing their lineage. We are staffed by volunteers, trained to assist patrons in using the computer and microfilm readers, locating materials and ordering microfilms from Salt Lake. Please note that staff members are NOT professional genealogists. A list of accredited genealogists is on file for your perusal. We are currently open on Tuesday & Thursday from 9am to 9pm and on Wednesday from 9am to 5pm. Our phone number is (541) 672-1237. Please call ahead to reserve your time on the computer. |
