          Dudettte Tells All?

Hello again...Now where to start? Guess I could start with my name...it's Amanda. I live in a tiny, dinky town near Jacksonville. I've heard some people call it a quaint little town but I don't know about all that! *grin*

I am employed part-time in rural North Carolina as a rural carrier associate (RCA). Let me tell you now that postal workers really do earn every bit of the money they make. It's a very demanding job at times but I love it and will be so glad when I make full time. And YES, I've heard all kinds of jokes about going "postal" but I always say hey....if my ex-hubby is still walking around, then no one has anything to fear from me...lol (IT'S A JOKE, THOMAS!!!) lol

I told you that the most important person in my life is my son. Also important to me is my family. My mother and father live about 3 miles from me and are the coolest parents that you could ever ask for. They are the most caring people that I know and I really don't know how I could have survived this long without them. I know that no matter what I do...they are always there one step behind me ready to catch me if I should stumble or fall. I also have 2 brothers....the oldest one(Billie) lives in the state of NC as well..about 1 1\2 hours from me. My youngest brother(Greg)...(who is OLDER than me) currently resides about 3 miles from me. Both of my brothers are married and each have a child of their own.

Last but certainly not least....my 2 daughters. Actually, they are my ex-hubby's daughters but they are still mine too. Alicia is 19, Opal is 16. I couldn't have asked for better kids. Even though I am no longer married to their father, they are still very much a part of my life. To tell you the truth, I think we are closer now than we've ever been before. *wink*

Well, that's about it for now, I guess....believe it or not, I seem to have run out of things to say at this point.
