Don E. Leek, 58, of Novato, Calf., formerly of Decatur died Monday
in a San Francisco hospital.
Arrangments are incomplete in Novato.
Mr. Leek was born in Decatur son of Jennie and Earl Leek. He
married Betty Grandi in San Francisco.
Mr. Leek spent several years in the Navyy, was an instructor in
the San Quentin prison and most recently a teacher ia a San Francisco
high school.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Donna of Novato, mother Mrs.
Earl Leek of Tucson Ariz.; brothers, Robert of Tucson: Carl of
Decatur: sister, Mrs. T.L. (Dorthy Kilpatrick of Anchorage, Alaska.

EDWARD LEEK, 66, Draftman DIES
Edawrd M. Leek, 66, 443 West Eldorado street, a retired draftsman
died in his home at 6:10 p.m. Thursday.
A draftsman for the Mississippi Valley Structural Steel Co., he
retired in 1942.
Mr. Leek was born in Cincinnati June 14, 1885, and was married to
Martha Ries in Convington, Ky., July 17, 1907. He lived here 38
years. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
He leaves his wife, daughters, Mrs. David White and Mrs. R.E.
Lyons both of Decatur; a son John R. of Champaign; a sister Mrs.
Gertrude L. Johnson, Monrovia, Calf., and two granchildren.
The body id in the Brintlinger funeral home, where friens may call
after noon Sunday. Private services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in
the funeral home, with burial in Fairlawn cemetary. The family
requests that no flowers be sent.

EMMETT LEEK, MACHINIST At Staley's, Dies at 55
Emmett Leek of rural route 6 died at 11:30 a.m. today in th
eDecatur Macon County Hospital where he had been a patient for th
elast two weeks.
A Machinist for the A.E. Staley Mfg. Co., he had last worked Dec.
6, when he became ill.
Mr. Leek was born October 20, 1891 in Stonefort, Illinois, a son
of Mr. and Mrs. William Frank Leek. He had lived in te Decatur
community for th elast 26 years. He was a memebr of the Staley
Fellowship club and the Macon County Coon Hunters association.
Mr. Leek was married Sept. 16, 1910 at Mt. Vernon, Ilinois to
Linnie Beckham, who survives.
Besides his wife, Mr. Leek leaves three sons, Frank of rural route
6, Marvin of Decatur, and Robert of Indiana Harbor, Ind.;two
daughters, Mrs Naydne Newberry of ruarual route 4 and Mrs. Eulah
Kohlbecker of rural route 6; two brothers Earl of Decatur and Elmer
of East St.Louis; three sisters, Mrs. Ninnie Hardkof and Mrs. Dessa
Aud, both of East St. Louis and Mrs. Fern Keef of Golconda, Ill.; and
12 grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday in the
Brintlinger funeral home, with burial in the Graceland cemetary.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.

arrival 9:924 a.m. Saturday at Dectaur Memeorial Hospital; born Dec.
4, 1921, son of Robert and Linnie Beckham Leek: married to Dorthy
Wickline, May25, 1940 in St.Charles Mo., who survives: srvice
satation operator in Decatur and Clinton for 28 years; member First

William F. " Bus" Leek, 63, of Mt. Zion died 4:25 p.m. Tuesday in
the St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur,

Mr. Leek was born in Pope County. He was an employee of A.E.
Staley Co. for 40 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church,
Mount Zion and Moose Lodge, Decatur. He was a member of the local 837
Allied Industrial workers.
He was married to Lela Shippy in Clinto May 1963.
Surviving are his wife; brother Robert of Salina, Kan.; sisters
Mrs. George (Naydne) Newberry of Decatur; Mrs. Leon (Eulah) Proctor
of Moweaqua; step-sons, Rollie L. Craig of Libertyville;
stepdaughter, Mrs. Jack (Maralee) Armstrong of Clinton

WILLIAM EARL LEEK DIES AT 72 IN ARIZONA
William Earl Leek, 72, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Decatur, died
at 7:30 p.m.. Monday in Tucson.
Mr. Leek, a former employe of the A.E. Staley Mfg. Co. left
Decatur 8 years ago.
He was born April 12, 1887 in Stonefort, Illinois, a son of
William Frank and Ida Thomas Lee.
Mr. Leek married Jennie Lewellyn in 1907 in Decatur.
He was a meber of teh Riverside Baptist Church, Stalet Fellowship
Club and the Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Leek leaves his wife, sons, Carl of Decatur; Robert of
Tucson:; Donald of San Francisco, Calf.: and daughter, Mrs. Dorthy
Kirpatrick, Riverside, Calf.
He also leaves a brother Elmer, of East St. Louis, and sisters.
Mrs. Dessie Aud, East St. Louis; and Mrs. Fern Keih, Teutoplis.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Dawson &
Wikoff Funeral Home, with burial in Fairlawn Cemetay. Friend may call
after 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
