Aimé Boudreau & Olive Desrosiers


Aimé BOUDREAU was born abt 1853 in Westmorland County New Brunswick,
the son of Ambroise BOUDREAU & Marguerite THIBODEAU

Olive DESROSIERS was born in the St-Léonard area of New Brunswick
but baptised May 31 1856
at Saint Bruno Parish Van Buren Aroostook Maine USA,
the daughter of François DESROSIERS & Marie Louise Eléonore LEBEL

A generous lady named Joan who is researching LEBEL families world-wide,
gave me the 'skeleton' of Olive's ancestry
and I added all the details and tidbits to it from there
thanks to the many family French Canadian histories on-line :-)

With the joining of these 2 people in matrimony,
Ed is connected to virtually every Acadian family on his GR GR-grandfather's side
and every French Canadian family on her GR GR grandmother's side :-)

married Aug 27 1900 to Thomas J MELANSON (at least 1 child)

3) Marie baptised Aug 26 1883 in Barachois NB
4) Anne baptised Jan 9 1887 in Haute-Aboujagane NB

5) Mathilde baptised Mar 5 1893 in Haute-Aboujagane NB
married 1912 to Joseph Emile MELANSON

6) Amanda baptised Sep 13 OR Sep 18 1895 in Haute-Aboujagane NB
married May 17 1909 to Wilfred LEBLANC

7) Arthémise E baptised Sep 13 OR Sep 18 1895 in Haute-Aboujagane NB
married Jul 2 1917 to Alphéé J AMABLE

Aimé died a few months before the birth of twins Amanda & Arthémise.
He was buried May 11 1895 in Haute-Aboujagane NB.
.... They had been married 21 years at that point in time ....

Olive remarried Jan 8 1899 to Théophile NOEL in Haute-Aboujagane.
Théophile was the son of Jean NOEL & Marcelline HEBERT.
According to my mother-in-law,
he was affectionately called PAPA NOEL by his step-grandchildren.


Olive DESROSIERS died Sep 26 1937 in Haute-Aboujagane NB.
(Her 2nd husband of 38 years, Théophile NOEL,
died Jan 20 1945 in Haute-Aboujagane NB)

Aimé BOUDREAU & Olive DESROSIERS are Ed's GR GR grandparents !!
