Agnes Airth Barr

Agnes AIRTH was born May 12 1814 in Brussels, Brabant, Belgium,
the 1st child of Sgt Henry AIRTH & Marion PARK.

Agnes spent her youth in Rutherglen, Lanark Scotland along with her siblings.
The family emigrated to Canada abt 1827
and eventually settled permanently in Renfrew Township, Renfrew Ontario.


David BARR emigrated to Canada in 1833.
He bought the Roffey Farm on Thomsonhill ~ Lot 8 Concesssion 2 in Horton Township.

Agnes & David had 14 children, all born in Horton Township, Renfrew:
