Henry Airth & Rachel McIntyre


 Henry (Harry) was born Jun 24 1819 in Rutherglen Lanark Scotland,
the son of Henry AIRTH & Marion PARK.

Harry married 1st to Catherine McNAB on Nov 1st 1841 in Renfrew County Ontario.
Twins were born to them in 1842, dying June 1842.
Catherine only lived a few short years, dying May 1846.


Harry then married
Rachel McINTYRE
abt 1847
in Horton Township.

Rachel was born May 1st 1816
in Balquhidder Perthshire Scotland,
the daughter of
John McINTYRE & Rachel McGREGOR.

Harry & Rachel had 6 children:

1) Henry born Jan 2 1851 / died Aug 6 1858


2) John born Jan 2 1851
married Charlotte Jane CLIFFORD on Nov 14 1873 at
St Andrew's Presbyterian Church Perth Lanark Ontario (8 children)
3) David born Oct 18 1852
married Eliza J TRENEMAN abt 1882 (2 children)


4) Rachel born May 20 1854
married Joseph KNIGHT abt 1878 (7 children)
(Joseph was the son of Thomas KNIGHT & Elizabeth PATTERSON)


5) Marion Park born Feb 24 1857
had 1 daughter, Edith Airth CARSWELL, born Apr 27 1876
Marion died 1943 and Edith dies in 1961.
Marion Park seems to never have married ......


6) Mary born Jul 14 1858 / died Aug 6 1858


Rachel died Jan 31st 1897
and Harry followed a few years later on May 14 1906.

Henry AIRTH & Rachel McINTYRE were my 2X GR Grand Uncle & Aunt !!
