" Each life is a miracle that changes the world
and leaves it a better place than it was before "
Ed's great great grandfather, Joseph JOHNSON, was born Oct 26 1835
in Rufforth Yorkshire England.
He was the 3rd eldest of 9 children
born to
Thomas JOHNSON and Ann MORTIMER.
Joseph's father, Thomas JOHNSON, was employed at Bilton-in-Ainsty,
5 miles west of Rufforth, hiring his labour out
for Squire John JOLLY, a Rufforth farmer.
