KATHY
WAS CALLED HOME
BY GOD

Kathy died on September 10, 1997.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandaughter, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was a best friend to all. She was in perfect health, she didn't smoke, drink, and wasn't taking any medication. She played basketball, softball, bowled and could work circles around people.

Kathy spoke with her mom several times that day. The last time being at 2:10 p.m. She was happy, laughing, playing with Adam over the phone with Grandma. She gave no indication that she wasn't feeling well. She had baby sat with two little boys under the age of three and their parents had picked them up by 2:30 when Bryan got off the school bus. Bryan, age 9, came into the house and Kathy had her legs curled up on the couch and was doing a crossword puzzle. Adam, age 9 months, was taking a nap. Bryan showed his school papers to his mom and they laughed, hugged, and Bryan got himself an after school snack. After his snack, she asked him if he had fed and watered his dog, Missy. He went out to put the dog on a leash from her kennel, when Missy ran through his legs, across the yard and down the driveway. Bryan started after her and Kathy came out of the house. She told Bryan to go into the house with Adam and she would get the dog. She went down the driveway and was seen by a neighbor going up the road. She got the dog and started back home.

She collapsed in the middle of the road. A neighbor gave her CPR before the ER squad arrived. She was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where they pronounced her dead at 4:36 p.m. Her autopsy results revealed her cause of death to be Probable Cardiac Arrhythmia due to Mitral Valve Prolapse. At age 31 years, 1 month, and 29 days, Kathryn Jo Coulter was taken Home to be with God.
