THOMAS BRIGHAM (Thomas ), born about 1500, appears as "Thomas Brigham junior" on the rental roll of the Manor of Holme in 1528, holding a cottage formerly in the tenure of William Armytts, three butts of arabic land in Tathom, a flatt of arable land of five acres above Rowley, etc.; yearly rental 5s. 8d. Public Record Office, Rentals and Surveys, Roll 735.) He was assessed 2d. on goods worth 20s. at Holme on a subsidy in 1544. (Lay Subsidy 203-222.) He was buried at Holme on Spaiding Moor, 6 Mar. 1559-60. No will can be found. He married about 1525, Elizabeth ; she died in 1573, administration being given to her son henry Brigham, 5 Dec., 1573.
