PARNELL, b. say 1600; m. at St. Lawrence Jewry, London, 25 Feb. 1622/3 JAMES WALLIS (A. W. Hughes Clark, ed., The Register of St. Lawrence Jewry, London, 1 538-1676, Harleian Society Publications, Register Section, VoL 70 [London, 1940] [hereinafter St. Lawrence Jewry Register], 92), who was bur. at St. Margaret Moses, Friday Street, 5 May 1638 (called ~our parish clerk") and she was bur. there 13 March 1661,2 (St. Margaret Moses Register, 83, 91). In her will, dated 10 March 1661,2 and proved 19 March 1661/2, Parnell Wallis of London, widow, bequeathed to her son John Wallis five pounds (to be paid by her son James Waflis) and her biggest chest; to her son Samuel Wallis 40s. (to be paid by her son James Wallis); to her grandson James Vaughan son of her son John Vaughan five pounds at age 21 or at marriage (to be paid by James Wallis); and to her son John Vaughan the residue, he to be executor (FCC, 44 Laud).
WINIFRED, b. abt. 1553; bur. at Tenterden, co. Kent, 6 Oct. 1592; m. (1) at Tenterden, 18 June 1576, Richard Wills; m. (2) at Tenterden, 14 Feb. 1583/4, Stephen HUCKSTEP. Children by first husband: 1. Joane, bapt. at Tenterden 23 June 1577; in. Robert Numan of Crayford; had issue. 2. Anne, b. in 1578; in. 25 May 1602 William Snatte of Hunton; had issue. 3. Suaan, bapt. at Tenterden 15 Feb. 1579/80~ in. (1) Rankin; in. (2) Benjamin Robus of "Kennarton" [? Kennardington] had issue by both husbands. 4. John, bapt. at Tenterden 23 July 1582; bur. there 14 Nov. 1582. Children by second husband: 5. Thomas, bapt. at Tenterden 22 Nov. 1584. 6. John, bapt. at Tenterden 22 May 1586; in., and had issue. 7. Lydia, bapt. at Tenterden 11 Feb. 1587/8; in. abt. 1607 Nathaniel Tilden; emigrated with her husband and children to New England in Mar. 1634/5.

JOHN, of Tenterden, co. Kent, yeoman, the teatator of 1628/9, b. abt. 1555; bur. at Tenterden 31 Mar. 1629; in. DOROTHY Phillpott, the testatrix of 1638, who d. between 13 Aug. and 1 Nov.1638. No issue. The will of John Hatche names his brothers and sisters, their children, and many of their grandchildren.
