Deputy Govenor of Rhode Island in 1714
Hi Tim
From relatives of Sarah in America I was given her life story and am starting from after her marriage to John Keepen.
"She was converted in England to the Church of Latter-day Saints.....by the Mormon Elders laboring in the British Mission. Her husband also converted to the church..........She left both her husband and her native England, and sailed for America on 3rd September 1873 on the Ship Wyoming with her two daughters her forth child Rhota Sabina was born 29/10/1873 and died 26/12/1873. ( we have been told John was to join her but never arrived. We can find no trace of him in England till he was buiried in his parents grave. We cannot find any sailing records to the USA either).
In 1874 she married Charles James Miller. He was the first brick maker in Ogden City. They lived in Ogden about four years then moved to a farm in West Weber, Utah on the 25th day of November 1891 they had the four children of Mrs Miller by her former marriage sealed to them in the Logan LDS Temple.
Regards
Janet
