Notes for Jerome (Herbert) Michael KELLEHER

Jerome was a career Army man. He had attained the rank of Chief Warrant
Officer and his last assignment prior to his retirement was as the Head
Librarian at West Point.

"Highland Falls - Jerome M. Kelleher, 76, died Friday at the Westchester
Medical Center in Valhalla.

He was born in Forest City, Pa. on Jan 6, 1909 the son of Jeremiah and Ina
Sterling Kelleher. Widower of Ardes Porter Kelleher, he was a 24 year
veteran
of the Army and a member of the Sacred Heart Parish.

An area resident for 25 years, he was a retired librarian at the U.S.
Military
Academy at West Point. He was also a member of the Orange County
Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands.

Survivors include three sisters, Eleanor and Veronica Kelleher, Forest
City,
and Naomi Pelella of Highland Falls, three brothers, Cornelius Kelleher,
Lebanon, Pa., Paul Kelleher of Washingtonville and Raymond Kelleher of
Lancaster, PA.

There will be no visitation. Mass will be held Monday at Sacred Heart
Church
with arrangements by the Walter F. Hogan Funeral Home." (Jerome M.
