Gods Messages
To All Of Us
Gods message is to live up to the calling of a life with Jesus. To have wholeness and to seek fullness of our potential in only "Him".
****To Know If The Messages Is Truely God:****
1. The message must be consistent with the Word Of God, "The Bible"
2. The message will be in conflict with human wisdom
3. The message may challenge ones faith
4. The message will clash with fleshly gratification and basic human lusts
5. The message will call for courage to change in your life or to do what God wants you to do
Gods challenge is to live up to a higher calling in life, that is a life with Jesus. God wants us to be the best we can be in Him and also open our lives to receive all that He has for us.
****Be Consistant With The Bible****
If we are not consistant with the Holy Scriptures on a daily basis, we can easily be deceived. The Word Of God Builds up our lives.
If there is a decision that you are trying to make, start you decision-making process in God's Word. Decisions may consist of: a new direction in your life, a relationship, a business matter or even a major change.
Go to The Word Of God and meditate until you clearly understand what He is trying to tell you. Go to different verses and build a foundation of meanings and then you will understand clearly the full wisdom of God.
****Conflict With The World****
The worlds wisdom is sure different from God's. Godly people are surrounded by Godly people. We must recognize that the world is moving in the wrong direction
****Jesus Taught****
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it".
****Clashing With Fleshy Lusts****
1. (John 2:16) The "pride of life" - the desire for power and status that exalt one over others
2. The "lust of the eyes" - covetousness and greed for material goods
3. The "lust of the flesh" - human appetites and sexual desires that are not in keeping with God's plan for marriage
The Holy Spirit helps us to overcome lusts and temptations. God's voice does not feed our self-centered natures, but He does call us to righteousness, purity and unselfish giving of ourselves to others.
****The Challenge To Grow In Faith****
God wants us to have great faith. The way to grow in faith is when we hear from God, also obey what he says, recognize and acknowledge God's faithfulness to His word in our lives.
You have to endure until you see the fulfillment of God's word. Every decision we make calls for great faith.
****Our Call To Have Courage****
"God Will Call You To Have Courage"
Anytime you take a risk for God's purposes, you are going to need courage, especially if you are being asked to stop your fleshy nature or if there is a challenge in your faith.
Don't let yourself get scared, discouraged, worried, frustrated, etc. Stay close to God. Always refuse to give into discouragement or fear.
****You Don't Have To Hurry To A Conclusion****
It sure doesn't say in The Bible that God tells you to hurry to any conclusions. Always consult God. He may instruct you to wait for further instructions. Also take your time to be certain that you have heard from Him.
