I am looking for the parents of Owen Ragan Moyers, born 1813 in Virginia (maybe Lee County) who moved to Knox County, Kentucky where he married Lucy Ann Stewart. He practiced as a doctor for a while. I am trying to establish the parentage of Anna Maria Meyers, 1753-1819, married Andrew Gross in Lancaster County, PA, of Catholic/German origin. I believe her to be the daughter of Heinrich Meyer, who immigrated with the father of Andrew in 1743 on the Sn w Charlotta, but can't prove it. I am hoping to find other Meyer researchers working on the line.

Looking for link to my Myers/Myres/etc., ancestor, Sarah DaRenda Myers, b. 1848 (was Myres on 1866 McMinn Co., TN marriage to William H. Standifer record). Have been told she was twin, that she had black hair and dark eyes (photo of her shows darker compl xion - believe she may be my Cherokee connection - her twin was light, and that twin married a Morrow). Parents believed to be German and possibly Cherokee - may have been LeRoy Myers and Nancy Bowerman.

I have the geneology addiction and can't seem to shake it. It started 10 years ago and I am now a confirmed addict. My grandfather was a Myers from Ohio but they moved to Saskathcewan in the late 1800s or early 1900s.
