The real spelling of my name is Miers. Just went through some the people who are l oking and we Meyers' sure like to name are family members with the same names. Eg. Looking for any information on my grandfather, Robert Hanlon Myers (b. Oct 11, 1891 in Chicago area; married Lenore Crocker). He was the son of William J. Myers from Ireland and Ann Hanlon from England. He lived in Chicago, Illinois and the surrounding rea. He had brothers Albert, William, Edward, Thomas, and a sister, Martha. William and Martha both lived in California - I think the rest stayed around Chicago. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? My aunt and cousins have been searching for qu te a while, without much success.

My husband is looking for any records of his father Hermann Meyers from Hamburg,(his family owned a jewelry store I believe, Germany who came to this country late 30's early 40's to New York City, met and married Rose Ohanessian there, had my husband Nels n and moved to Whitinsville MA - she went to Armenia USSR when Nelson was 7 and remarried hence the Janigian last name. They lived in Armenia for many years and Nelson had no way to find his father before returning to the United States. Thank you very m ch for any information you can give me - he has no other siblings and I'd like to try to find perhaps any info at all if he remarried, any children, etc. Hermann Meyers was I believe about 50 years old at the time of Nelson's birth and Rose Ohanessian was 37. They lived for a time in Milford, MA where Nelson was born in 1942. Again many thanks. I just got a computer recently - hope I did this correctly.
