Twelve-year old Judson Moon is convinced by his new best friend, Lane, to run for President of the United States. No matter what argument Judson has - like don't you have to be 35 years old to be President - Lane has the answer. A lot of interesting events lead up to election night that teach about the election process. The book also shows the side of politics that sometimes gets the wrong person elected. This is a hilarious, yet educational, book with some crazy events. It also shows that being president is a BIG responsibility. I would recommend this book to all kids who are starting to learn about government and the way it works. Both my parents read the book and liked it.
