For a Room - Leave a box of baking soda open inside the room, or use fresh flowers and herbs

Furniture Cleaner - Mix three-parts olive oil and one-part vinegar, or one-part lemon juice and two-parts vegetable oil.  Use a soft cloth.

General Cleaner - Mix baking soda with a small amount of water.

Glass Cleaner - White vinegar or rubbing alcohol and water

Toilet Bowl Cleaner - vinegar

Coffee / Wine Stains - Blot the fresh spill with a cloth soaked with club soda.

Paper Towels - washable tea towels

Tea Bags - loose tea

Tissues - hankies

Ants - Pour a line of cream of tartar where the ants pass to get into the house.  They won't cross it.  Also wash kitchen tops with equal parts vinegar and water.

Cockroaches - Place whole bay leaves all around the kitchen

Fleas and Ticks - Feed brewer's yeast and garlic tablets to companion animals.  Place herbs such as rosemary, eucalyptus seeds, to repel fleas.

Mosquitoes -Eat brewer's yeast or tablets everyday during summer.
